Alright. We just completed our investigation of Wedgefield Plantation in Georgetown, SC this past weekend and we're currently reviewing all the evidence. Look for updates on that soon!
Also, if you live in the Grand Strand area, be sure to pick up a copy of 'The Sun News' on Friday for an article on SPIRIT! They were along with us for Wedgefield and we'd like to thank them for their time. You can likely see the article on their website by clicking here, but once its out, we will post a direct link for sure!

NEWS UPDATE - 9/26/2008 - 3:36AM
Just thought I'd let ya'll know what we've been up to.
We've got some investigations lining up and in the near future. More information will come on that later.
On the site, I've been adding a few things here and there that will benefit the site and our users. I've added a chat feature which allows you chat with SPIRIT members and other site visitors. The chat feature is linked up to our new forum system so if you sign up for one, you can use the other with the same information.
I also recently begin adding a photos section on the location profiles in the directory section. The links to the new pictures areas will be below the title or main picture on the page. They're not yet up on every location, but at the moment you can see the awesome pictures from inside of St. Paul's Church in Little Rock, SC by clicking here. They're actually great photos of a great location provided by Olivia Price, whom we thank to an infinite degree!
The great part about the new photo system is that you can now leave comments on each picture! Go check 'em out and leave us some comments!
There are a few other things in the works with the group as well as on the site that you may notice changing (I won't take time to point them out).

NEWS UPDATE - 6/9/2008 - 2:09AM
The forums are back up and working. The site's host switched servers and screwed up the old ones beyond repair and ended all of their support for that script so I was forced to switch to another forum script. In the end, its a better program I think you'll all enjoy more.
Unfortunately, this means that everything was on there before are now lost. That includes all usernames and accounts. Therefore, if you were a member you'll have to sign up again. Hopefully this won't kill off the forums but we'll see!
The video project that Darrell and I were working on is complete in its shorter and simplest form. I'll see about getting it on here soon. We're trying to get everything straight in it including all plugs for Bulldog Tours to keep those guys happy because they've been nothing short of great to us.
That's about it for now but keep an eye open for changes here and there as I constantly go about making improvements for your enjoyment.

Just to keep you all informed of what's new with the site and with your favorite Southern ghost hunters, I thought I'd do a little news update!
I've been working on changing the set up of the pages that list all the imformation for haunted places on the site. That's a work-in-progress but should be completed soon.
As for now, I have added awesome AERIAL MAPS to most of the haunted places pages. Check 'em out! I get questions all the time about how to get to the places and though I have directions on most of them, with this you can see it for yourself as well as get driving directions straight to there!
The TV spots we did with WPDE went great, as did our investigation at Litchfield Plantation. We here at SPIRIT would like to extend our fullest thanks to Joel Allen and the rest of the WPDE team for their professionalism and interest in our group!
On a similar note, we would like to thank Mitch Adams and Alix Michaels of the Mitch and Alix Good Morning Show for the time they allowed us to spend with them on the air and investigating their studio!
We will try to get copies of the TV and radio spots online as soon as possible for those who missed them.
The site forums are temporarily down but keep tryin' and they should be up soon!
Lastly, Darrell and I will be re-visiting the Old City Jail in Charleston, SC this upcoming week for a video project in an attempt to bring America's most well-known paranormal group to the ol' place! This also may be a seeder idea/project that could lead to a video series and possible DVD. Stay tuned for more on that!
