House of Centerville

Near Latta/Bingham, Dillon County, South Carolina
The History:
I have heard only one person tell me about this house. As I understand it, a man was supposed to have killed his entire family there and buried them in the back yard. It sounds very much like a story I saw listed on another website about the 'Bigham House' which sounds very much the same and since the house in question is near the Bingham community, though its unlikely as the story of the other place is about an hour or so away. Though I have also found that the Bingham and Bigham families are probably the same. Neither can be found in the area today.
I have heard that there is blood on the walls of a little girl's room in the house and that very odd occurances take place inside the house and there are graves in the back yard. I have no real specifics on that, though.
My Thoughts/Feelings/Findings/Opinions:
I recently saw the house for the first time myself. Its a nice little house but it's small and seems almost in the way of the cow pastures and farm equipment and fields that surround it.
I recently found the owners through tax maps and contacted them. The owner's son told me he had never heard any of this and that it was all new to him and untrue. We never heard from the actual owner herself. We do intend to try to make contact with them again as we found something strange about the reaction of the son. He didn't even adknowledge the existance of a house back there, though I know with certainty it is there.
Regardless of if the person we spoke to is lying to us, ignorant to what has happened there, or telling us the absolute truth, this is a place I'd like to investigate.
I have finally been to this house, though, but we did not enter and made sure not to trespass.
Once we came upon the road that leads to the house we went down the drive way and got as near as the road could take us to the house and got out to see if we could hear any screams, moans, or any other sounds that we'd been told you can easily hear.
At first, we thought the only thing we would hear were the nearby cows that were constantly mooing at us. But instead, right when we were about to leave (we were a little frightened to go any nearer. Plus we didn't want to go on to the property without permission), we heard something that was clearly a scream of some sort coming from in the direction of the house. Given the direction it came from, it was either in the back of the house and possibly on the second floor or it was someone back in the woods behind the house and seeing as how that's just woods for a mile or so, we're fain to think it was something in that house. But we want you to judge for yourself... And luckily, I had my tape recorder running at the time!

Directions:
Its located in Dillon County, SC near the city of Latta. It's near some cow pastures down Centerville Road. It's very close to Skillet Road. It is probably about 1/4 mile or so from the main road. There is a very large barn out front and to the side of it so it might be hard to see the house since it is small and so far from the road anyway. The small dirt road to the house is sometimes roped off from what I've heard.
